Working time: about 1 hour

Skill level: 🌸🌸 easy

Used yarn and materials

  • 100 gr Cotton Yarn Fine (2) with crochet Hook 2,75 mm
  • 100 gr Acrylic Yarn light (3) with crochet hook 3, 5 mm

You can choose the yarn and the colors of both are yellow, white and black!

Other materials to have with you are:

  • pin
  • needle
  • scissor
  • stitch marker
  • stuffing

📗 Abbreviations & meanings (US terms)

  • MR = magic ring
  • CH = chain
  • SC = single crochet
  • SLST = slip stitch
  • INC = Increase, 2 SC in the same stitch
  • DEC = Decrease, 2 SC together
  • REP * = repeat from * to * until the end of the row

Step by step tutorial to make the body

Start with yellow yarn and work a circle of 30 SC

6-81 SC in each stitches around30×3
9-10change with black yarn
1 SC in each stitches around
11-13change with yellow yarn

16-19change with yellow yarn

Stuff the body
22*1 SC, DEC*; REP * 6 times12

Close with one SL ST and fasten off. Cut the yarn and hide it inside the work.

Embroider with black yarn the eyes

Tutorial wings, sting and antennae amigurumi bee

Tutorial amigurumi wings bee (make 2)

Use white yarn and make a circle of 24 SC.

Follow the pattern of the body till the 4th round and then make: INC, 4 SC, INC (8 SC)

Close with 1 SL ST in the next stitch, cut the yarn and leave a long tail to use it to sew the wings on the body of the bee.

With the same tail of yarn, make a horizontal line under the eyes.

Tutorial amigurumi bee antennae

With black yarn make 9 CHs and work 1 SL ST in the 2nd CH from hook and in the other next CHs.

Make other 9 CHs and 1 SL ST inside all the CHs.

1 SL ST in the middle of the two chains and fasten off.

Cut the yarn and leave a long tail to use to sew the bee antennae on the body.

Tutorial amigurumi bee sting

Use black yarn and follow the pattern down here:

1MR, 3 SC3
2-31 SC in each stitches around3×2
43 INC6
56 INC12

Close with 1 SL ST, cut the yarn leaving a long tail and sew the sting on the back side of the amigurumi bee.
