Explanation on how to crochet a pumpkin with jute to add a rustic touch to your home.
Autumn has arrived, and I love decorating the house with crochet pumpkins, the iconic fruit of this season!
In this crochet tutorial, I’ll show you how to make one using jute, a raw yarn perfect for creating a warm and rustic atmosphere!
- Working time: 30 minutes
- Skill level: intermediate
Useful information before starting
To crochet the pumpkin, you need to know the amigurumi technique, and the basic crochet stitch used for this project is the single crochet stitch.
The technique is based on working in continuous rounds without closing each round with a slip stitch. For this reason, a stitch marker is useful to keep track of the first or last stitch of each round, which can be moved as the project progresses.
When working in the round, you can choose to follow the pattern and work in continuous spirals, or you can use the perfect circle technique.
