Used yarn and materials

  • 🧶50 gr mixed cotton and acrylic yarn (to make the pencil case); 100% cotton (to make muzzle and eyes). Yarn MEDIUM 4
  • Crochet hook 3,5 mm
  • Needle to hide the yarn
  • scissors

📗 Abbreviations & meanings (US terms)

Start with 40 CHs + 1 turning CH and follow the pattern below:

Repeat the 2nd row to reach the desired height.

I worked to reach 23 cm.

🌸 EARS (make 2)

Count 36 HDC on the left upper row. From this point you have to work the ears.

Repeat the pattern from 1st to 15th row to make a second ear.

Reach the end of the row, making 6 SC.

Close with 1 SL ST in the next stitch, cut the yarn and hide it.

Now work 9 CHs + 1 Turning CH.

Follow the pattern from the 1st to 14th row to make the ear to fix on the ears made before, worked on the pencil case.

Once you reach the 14th rows, make 1 SL ST on the foundation CHs, to have the hook on the opposite side of the work and make the union of the ears with SC. (See Picture 3)

If you want to stuff the ears, make it before sewing.

🌸 MUZZLE

Embroider the nose like the PICTURE 4.

Make a crochet circle and then embroider a nose in the center of the ring with a brown thin yarn.

Sew the circle in the center of the pencil case.

🌸 EYES (make 2)

To make the eyes, work 10 CHs and then sew it next to the muzzle (SEE PICTURE 6)

To make the eyes, work 10 CHs and sew it how do you want on the side of the circle.

I choose to use tear-off stickers to be applied under the ears, as you can see in the photo below
