Crochet with me an amigurumi doll, her name is Lil Sugar! Follow the instruction with video tutorial to make it.
Useful information before starting
This crochet doll is worked in continuous round.
Use a marker stitch to sign the first or the last stitch of each round.
The following instructions are accompanied by a video tutorial in Italian languages, but with English subtitle.

Using the suggested yarns, Lil Sugar will be 20 cm high.
Arms (make 2)
Start with brown yarn to make the arms

Make 1 SL ST to finish the first leg and cut the yarn.
Repeat the crochet pattern to make a second leg, DO NOT CUT the yarn and follow the crochet pattern of the body here below.
Mark the 4th stitch before the last stitch of the first worked leg. Turn the feet in front of you.

📌 useful note
Before closing the hole, work the eyes, ears, nose and mouth, so you will be able to get the ends of the other threads out of this hole, and then you will close it.

Make 1 SL ST to close and repeat the pattern to make a second ear.
Leave a long tail to use it to sew the ears on the side of the head.

Eyes (make 2)
To make the eyes you have to change with three colors.
The primary colors are black and white, the mint color is the secondary color, and you can change with another, if you want.
Start with black yarn.

📌 In the instruction I wrote in italics not to cut the white thread, because you will use it to embroider the light point inside the pupil, and in the video tutorial I show you how to do it.
The black thread should also be left long at the end before cutting, to be able to use it when you need to fix the eyes on the doll’s head.
Bicolor hair
To make the hair, I used this kind of yarn in two colors, blue and pink. Cut 9 meter of both color and other 3 meters to make the chignon.
You have to divide the head in half, one half in pink and one half in blue.
Subsequently, two chignons are created, one pink and one blue, which will be fixed above the head on the respective colors.

Repeat the instructions from 5th to 15th rows. Join the stripe together with 1 SC and fix the ribbon around the chignon over the shells row.
Crochet a tape of 27 SC to wrap around the bow.

Underwear
Use a cotton white yarn with a crochet hook of 3 mm.
Do not work in round, but in row. Start each row with 1 CH and turn the work before starting the next row.

Finish the 32nd row, you are on the right side of the panties stripe. Work 1 SC in the 4 stitches on the side and INC in the next stitch to reach the top of the undewear.
Border with fans
Now crochet: 7 SC, * (1 SC, 3 HDC) in the same stitch, 1 SC in the next stitch *; REP * till you make 9 shells.
Make 1 SC all around the panties till you reach the front side and REP * until you have 10 shells.
Fasten off and leave a long tail to sew the stripe on the side of the underwear.
Undershirt
Work in round with white cotton yarn and 3 mm size crochet hook.
