Embroidering

Assembly Starfish
- Make two star pieces using the same color or a different yarn color, then join them together.
- Embroider the eyes and mouth on one of the starfish pieces before joining them. This will allow you to hide the yarn tails inside the project.
- Place both starfish pieces with the right sides facing outward.
- Work a round of single crochet to join the two pieces together.
- Continue working along all sides and around all five points of the starfish.
- Leave a small opening before completing the round so you can insert the stuffing.
- Stuff the points first, then add stuffing to the center to give the starfish the proper shape and thickness.
- Close the opening by continuing to work single crochet stitches.
- Your starfish is complete!
