Working time: 30 minutes
Used yarn and accessories
- 50 gr Tre Sfere FIOCCO 100% cotton FINE (2) light orange color code 7271
- Crochet hook size: 3 mm
- needle
- stitch marker
Using, the suggested yarn, you reached a size of 7 cm. With another kind of yarn, the size will be different but with the same proportion.
Step-by-Step Guide to crochet sea star earrings
Work a circle of 18 Single crochet.
Crochet a star point and make it 5.
- Rows 1-3: 1 SC in the next 3 stitches (3×3 rows)
- Row 4: 1 turning CH, DEC, 1 SC (2)
- Rows 5-6: 1 turning CH, 1 SC in the 2 stitches (2×2 rows)
- Row 7: 1 turning CH, DEC (1)
- Make 1 SC in each stitches of the side to reach the circle. (6 SC). WATCH THE VIDEO
- 1 SC and repeat the pattern 4 times. Close with 1 SL ST. WATCH THE VIDEO
Cut and hide the yarn of the first star.
If you find the stitches too tight, try using a slightly larger hook.
Assembly
Make a second star and do not cut the yarn, leave a long tail to use it to sew the stars together.
Before unite the stars, embroidery on one chain stitch with hook on the right side. WATCH THE VIDEO
